Summer Lovin'

We are having a fantastic summer but it's hard to keep up with the blog posts. Here are a few things we've been up to...

VEGAS: I drove the kids down to Vegas for a week in June to visit my family and forgot my camera. Darn! Until I get pictures from my mom, here are a few pictures I stole from my sister's blog.

What is a vacation without ice cream?

My mom, Shelly, and I tried to make a fantastic double layer chocolate cake for Father's Day. To make a long story short, the thing fell apart. Cameron had to work but flew in for the weekend to spend Father's Day/our anniversary with me.

My sister-in-law Tori is trying out photography and practiced on our family. I think the pics turned out great!

THANKSGIVING POINT (the Discovery Gardens): This was the first time I have gone and we loved it. (Don't worry, the animals are bronze statues:)

SUMMER PROJECTS: I caught Cameron, red handed, heading up to our attic like this...

Then I find him outside doing this...

Before he gets up the later he tells me not to worry because we have a life insurance policy. I tell him that he's going to pretty grumpy if he ends up paralyzed and unable to do any more 'Saturday projects.' Serious, Cameron. Is this really necessary? (He's putting in a fan that sucks all the hot air up into our attic and out of our house.)

FAMILY BBQ'S: We love it when family is town and we love to eat with our family!

BACKYARD CAMP OUT: We haven't been able to do this yet because we didn't have a fence. The kids loved it (they made it until about ten at night. Cam brought them in and tucked their sleepy heads into their beds).

LAGOON: Every year Cameron's work takes us to Lagoon for a day. Once again we had a blast but I didn't post too many pictures this time because they look exactly like the ones last year, except the kids a year older.

HANGING OUT: No school, hot days, and my kids...I couldn't ask for more.
