I had my ultrasound today and we are having a GIRL! I think Allie is the most excited out of all of us. No surprise there! She's been begging for a sister ever since I found out I was pregnant. I had hunches myself it was a girl (craving sugar, for instance, gave it away) but I was nervous to let Allie think so. Worried it would be a boy instead, I kept telling her, "I know you want a sister, but the Lord chooses, not us. You may get a brother." After the ultrasound, Allie kept telling me, "See mom, I was right. You kept saying it was going to be a boy but I knew it was a girl."During the ultrasound, the tech held the camera for a while on the baby's face so we could just watch her move. She kept trying to put her little hand into her mouth and start sucking but couldn't quite figure it out. Instead she would grab her nose. I held back my tears and got baby hungry all over again. So now, all I want to do is pull out Allie's old clothes and start dreaming pink, again.
