Spring Break

Cameron had to go out of town for work last week so my mom, brother, and sister with her kids came to spend some time with me. Cameron came back for Easter weekend so he didn't miss out on everything. Before the guys showed up, us girls watched too many chick-flicks and went shopping but here are a few other things we did.

We went to Pirates Island which is a great restaurant for kids.

Shelly and I each have two children about the same ages which is awesome for us and for our kids. Connor and Allie got food poising Wednesday night (BEFORE we ate at Pirates Island). Allie puked in my poor mom's face. We didn't know she was sick yet and she was sleeping with grandma while I took care of Connor at the time. I think the last time I pulled an 'all nighter' was in high school. Why is it when kids get sick, it is always at night when people should be sleeping? It was also the first time I slept on my bathroom floor. Babies can't throw up in buckets so every 45 min. I would hear Connor starting to gag and I had to be close to the sink. Poor guy! Both recovered quickly the next day - thank goodness!

The city of Spanish Fork had an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning. It was pretty crazy but I think the kids enjoyed it.

After the Easter Egg Hunt, we watched General Conference. It is a special meeting that our church holds every six months and we watch it on TV. The kids colored while the adults took notes. Derek found Allie's Doodler for his note taking purposes.

Sunday morning the Easter Bunny came and surprised the kids with too much candy! We had such a great time.
